The Story
Drier than most NZ Pinot Gris.
“The 2019 vintage was grown principally (60 per cent) in the Awatere Valley, but also in the Wairau Valley and at Kekerengu. Mostly hand-harvested, it is a bright, light lemon/green, full-bodied wine, with good intensity of vibrant, citrusy, peachy, slightly spicy flavours, a touch of complexity, and a lingering, basically dry finish. A distinctive wine with good aging potential, it should be at its best 2021+.” 4.5 Stars - Michael Cooper
