The Story
A classic Northern Italian white blend of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Bianco......indeed probably my favourite white blend style of all time.
All fruit is sourced from vineyards located at 448m altitude, thus the name.
This is a juicy, tangy, herbaceous wine with mouth-watering spring blossom, citrus and nettle aromas and flavours. The palate is crunchy, racy and refreshing, but it becomes more and more textural as it builds in the glass. It's not particularly complex, nor is it aiming too high - it's simply a juicy, drink now, aromatic for a very fair price.
