Tokar Estate is essentially a 'weekender' that got out of control! Leon Tokar stumbled across the Maddens Lane property (absolute YV dress circle address) in 1995 and bought it on the spot. There is now 30 acres planted to the usual suspects but notably Tokar were the first Yarra Valley winery to plant Tempranillo.
